Wedding Films

Wedding film coverage across the DMV — hybrid with photo or as a standalone production. Each booking configures around your priorities: photo-led with a partner videographer, video-led with a partner photographer, or solo coverage at lighter scopes.

A photo album captures the day. A wedding film captures how it felt. Photo is what I shoot most days, but for couples who want both — or who want video to be the centerpiece — I can deliver cinematic, story-driven moments alongside the photo work.

Each booking, we configure around your priorities. If photo is the centerpiece of your day, I lead the photo side and bring a partner videographer to cover the film work. If video matters more — say, for a culturally significant ceremony, an out-of-town family member who can't attend, or a couple who values motion over stills — I'll lead the video effort and bring a partner photographer. Same quality either way, single point of contact for both.

Solo tiers are detailed first for couples who want only video coverage from me, or who want a single shooter who can switch into photography before and after the ceremony to keep the day-of cost down. Hybrid tiers with multiple operators are listed below that.

Already have a photo package booked? Reach out and we'll talk through which video tier slots in — see the Weddings page for photo tier inclusions. Hybrid bookings get a single contract and a single point of contact.

The first 10–15 minutes after the recessional are gear-switch time — breaking down audio recorders, lav mics, and camera tripods, then reconfiguring to photo bodies. Frequently asked

Why do you offer this if you're primarily a photographer?
Couples regularly ask for both, and the alternative — recommending two separate vendors — adds coordination work to a planning process that's already heavy. Hybrid coverage with a single point of contact is genuinely simpler.
How do you decide who leads photo vs. video?
On the consult call. Whichever craft is more central to your day is what I lead, and I bring a vetted partner for the other side.
Why is the multi-cam ceremony cut listed as 30–60 minutes?
Because ceremonies vary. A short courthouse-style ceremony might land closer to 30 minutes. A full Mass with Communion, multilingual readings, or extended cultural elements can run an hour or more. The cut covers what the ceremony actually was — start to finish, multi-cam.
Why is there a coverage gap in the Solo Hybrid tier?
Because I'm switching gear bags between ceremony and reception — breaking down audio recorders, lav mics, and camera tripods, and reconfiguring to photo bodies. Usually 10–15 minutes. If you want zero gap, the Documentary or Story Film hybrid tiers (with a partner videographer covering the transition) are the better fit.
Can I add video to my existing photo booking?
Yes — reach out and we'll talk through which video tier slots into your existing package.
Who edits my video?
I do the initial cut — culling, syncing, organizing footage, assembling a rough timeline. A partner editor polishes from there: color, grade, audio mix, music sync. Two rounds of revisions are included; additional rounds are $250 each.
What's the turnaround on the final video?
Roughly 8–10 weeks for the highlight film and 10–12 weeks for the full multi-cam cuts. Specific dates land in the contract.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes. Travel fees mirror the photography travel structure already published on the Weddings page.
What if I want a tier between Story Film and Cinematic?
Custom quotes are available — reach out and we'll talk through what would slot in. Most often this means Story Film with one or two Cinematic-tier add-ons (drone, social teaser, bridal party interviews) layered on top.
