Pets are family — and pet sessions are some of my favorite shoots. I work at the pace of the animal, not the other way around: lots of treats, plenty of breaks, and a relaxed approach that gets you photos that actually look like your pet's personality, not a stiff studio pose.

Sessions work for in-home portraits (ideal for older dogs, cats, or shy pups), outdoor adventures (great for high-energy dogs), or as a family-with-pet add-on. I'll bring squeakers, treats, and patience.

How much does pet photography cost in the DC area?

Pet sessions start at $275 for a 45-minute in-home session and go up to $525 for a 75-minute Pet + Family session that includes portraits of the humans too. Additional pets are just $50 each.

Do you offer memorial sessions for senior or aging pets?

I do, and there's no extra charge — memorial sessions are included at the same rate as any other pet session. I'll work at a gentle pace with extra patience and breaks so your pet stays comfortable the whole time.

Can you photograph my cat or is this only for dogs?

Cats, dogs, rabbits, horses — I'm game for all of them. In-home sessions work especially well for cats and shy pets since they're already in their comfort zone. I bring treats, squeakers, and plenty of patience.

What if my dog won't sit still for photos?

That's totally normal and honestly makes for the best photos. I work at the pace of the animal, not the other way around — lots of treats, breaks, and a relaxed approach. High-energy dogs do great with the Outdoor Adventure session where they can just be themselves.
